The Kailas Manasarovar Yatra is no joke. It’s not an extended getaway in a resort, where things could come to the table. It’s not an out and out adventure where you’re exposed to extreme conditions as well.

Two extreem weather- very cold and very hot. Two extreem hights- Kathmandu is at 4000 fts and Kailasji is at 15000 to 19000.

you don’t need muscla power or athletic power but for sure you will need comfortable health. Those who have gone through any mejour surgery

Exercise
  • We suggest you to follow a healthy routine and do few exercises daily.
  • Regular walking / Jogging
  • Climbing Stairs
  • Practice of Deep Breathing
  • If anyone is having Knee issues then you should walk for 1 kms daily and increase rapidly.

Medicine
  • Everyone should carry 2 sets of your daily medicine pouch during Yatra
  • First Aid & Medical Kit
  • Sprays For Injury, Burns, Sprains
  • Glucose Tablets (Dextrose)
  • Electro Powder (Very Imp)
  • Paracetamol Or Crocin
  • Eye Drop
  • Muscle Relaxant
  • Motion Sickness
  • Acidity Tablet
  • Knee Cap
  • Pain Killer
  • Vicks
  • IMP : If anyone is having Diabetes or Blood pressure, make sure you get your measuring instrument (Glucose Meter) along and check your diabetes every day. Please make sure you carry the prescribed medicines during the yatra and follow diet instructions.
Important Note
  • Drink 3 litres of water every day
  • 2 Glass Chhas every day
  • No Oily food or fried food
  • Avoid eating outside
  • Do not eat after 7:30 PM.
  • Carry the Blood Pressure Monitor or Glucose Metere for checking Blood Preassure & Blood sugar respectively during the yatra
  • It is request to follow this routine even after the Yatra is done to maintain a healthy life.

Do’s

  • If you religiously follow suggestions on how to stay healthy given by us before you commence Yatra and also during – you will not fall sick.
  • During Yatra, if you are on any kind of maintenance drugs for Cholesterol or Blood pressure or Diabetes or any other medication, then you need to make sure to take your medication regularly as prescribed by your doctor. You must get your instrument with you to check everyday your blood pressure & sugar.
  • Please explain your medical problems in medical form.
  • To enjoy the yatra to its fullest one doesn’t need to do any athletic excercises but it is important to be in a good shape & have a strong stamina.
  • Anyone who is physically fit & mentally fit can perform this Yatra.
  • If you are a Heart Patient & if you have not gone through bypass or any major surgery in past 3 years then you will be able to come for the yatra. Only you will require a signed Medical form from your Cardiologist as his consent will be very important. Please make sure you get your stress test done.
  • Forming a habit of drinking up to 3 liters of water daily

  • We request you to refrain from smoking & consuming Alcohol.
  • No Oily food or fried food
  • Avoid eating outside
  • Do not eat after 7:30 PM.
