After reaching Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization. Leh is the the largest town of Ladakh with an area of 45110 Sq Km. Leh stands accessible, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan enclave.
Morning after breakfast, we will take you to a guided tour of the Monasteries of the Indus Valley. Your excursion would include visits to, Hemis (45 KMS. SOUTH OF LEH) Hemis is the biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh, built in the 17th century by Chapgon Gyalshas. Thiksey (25 KMS SOUTH OF LEH) Thiksey, one of the most imposing monasteries belonging to the 15th century, stands on a crag overlooking the flood plain on the east bank of the Indus. Shey (15 KMS SOUTH OF LEH) On the East bank of the Indus river lies the beautiful Shey Monastery. Return to your hotel by the later part of the afternoon. Evening is free. Overnight at your hotel.
After morning breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (5359 Mts)(159 Kms 5 Hour Drive). This is the approach to the world’s highest motorable pass at a height of 17580 feet. Arrival at Deskit/Hunder by Afternoon. Rest of the day free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast drive to Pangong lake (274 Kms 7 Hours Drive). Upon arrival in Pangong, submerg yourself in the magnificent beauty of lake situated at the hight of 14000 ft. The brackish water lake freezes in winter and become so stiff that one can walk over the lake. Overnight stay in camp or resort.
After Morning breakfast drive back to Leh via Changla Pass (5360 M) (225 Kms 5 Hours Drive). On arrival check in the hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast you will drive towards bank of Indus river till Sangam. Where Zanskar river and Indus River conflicts. Drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorial). Later visit to Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace. Dinner and Overnight stay in hotel.
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Leh airport for onwards Journey.
